Texas Education 911 "Anthem"

"Without

SUNSHINE,

DETERRENCE,

INDEPENDENT OVERSIGHT,

PARENTAL RIGHTS PROTECTIONS,

DUE PROCESS FOR PARENTS, STUDENTS, & TEACHERS (especially our brave whistleblowers) and

ENFORCEMENT,

we won't have the tools we need.

WITH those things?

We will see things shift beautifully in a matter of 6 months to a year..."

What is Texas Education 911?

Texas Education 911 is a non-partisan organization that is championing the best common sense legislation for the safety and security of our public schools. I fully support their policies. There are parts and elements of the House Bills (HBs) and Senate Bills (SBs) that are being promoted by Texas Education 911 that the Aledo ISD can adopt NOW without having to wait for them to pass in the Texas Legislature. There are opportunities for the Aledo ISD to be proactive. Police Chief Matt Antkowiak is good man. He is accessible. I want for the Aledo ISD to host a special board meeting for this man to speak, and HE WILL if we invite him.

The way I recommend to jump into what Texas Education 911 is about is to watch this video of Matt Antkowiak testifying before the Texas legislature. A second video that is just as potent is of Ryan Woolsey testifying to HB 7.
